ART CLASSES FOR KIDS
Creative Edge has been offering art classes in Abbotsford since 1991.
Our art classes consist of instruction in many different art forms such as: drawing, painting, sewing, clay modelling, print making, cartooning, mixed media and more!
In addition, students will have a chance to learn about, and make projects in the style of, great artists of the past and present such as; Vincent Van Gogh, Frida Kahlo, Frank Stella and Ted Harrison.
The program is available for 4 age groups.
Mini Art (age 3-4)
Young at Art (age 5-7).
Junior Art (age 8-10).
Senior Art (age 11-13).
Also, every year our art students proudly display their works during the Creative edge annual Art Show.
“I have 3 children and we have been going to Creative Edge for nearly 3 years in both art and dance programs.
All 3 of my kids have loved the art program and I love it too - I was surprised at the amount of techniques that were taught as well as how much fun they had doing it.
My son is always using what he learned in class to create art projects at home- such as memory books of events that are important to him. Their teachers at school have commented on how creative they are and advanced in their artwork.
During an art summer camp, they were so excited to show off an art show of the work they had created during the week.
We love the staff - all of the teachers and reception staff make you feel welcome and part of the Creative Edge family. ”
