“Some of my favorite things about Creative Edge are the performances at Abbey Arts. Looking back to that very first year of preschool, my husband and I had no idea that the shows would be so spectacular. They are so well put together, from the costumes, to the music selection, to the choice of theatrical pieces. Not only are they entertaining, they are also inspiring, and on more than one occasion have caused tears of joy to be shed by some very proud parents sitting in the audience. I still remember walking out of that very first performance saying: “WOW!”. Yet, the most amazing thing about these shows, is the impact they have had on our daughter. When she started Kindergarten, her self-assuredness was visible at the school performances. Normally a shy child, her confidence absolutely shines through when on stage, something we attribute directly to her start at Creative Edge. She literally has “the creative edge”. OUR PERFORMANCES
Creative Edge has been putting on performances in Abbotsford since 1992. At the Abbey Arts Centre, we combine the dance and drama classes to create some fun entertainment for parents to watch. The preschool classes also take part in this show and are a real hit with the audiences.
We also combine our music and art students into one show. THe music students perform in the recital hall while the art students display their artwork at an art show in the main foyer.
