Acting is fun and a great confidence builder. Children’s theatre, theatre sports! Stage productions! Acting for the camera! Everyone needs a little drama in their life!

FURRY TALE THEATRE - ages 4-5

Dress up and roll playing make for a fun introduction to children’s theatre for 4 and 5 year olds. Our students gain confidence and enhance their public speaking ability by memorizing small scripts and reciting poetry with expression. The use of fun drama games and creative movement exercises help to further develop communication skills. Furry Tale Theatre students also perform at biannual productions held at the Abbey Arts Centre in Abbotsford, BC.

ACT UP THEATRE - ages 6-12

Focusing on theatre sports and onstage performances, this children’s theatre class provides a great outlet for building self confidence. Classroom based exercises, improvisation scenarios and drama games keep our classes fun while strengthening communication skills. Scripts are practiced and performed twice yearly at the Abbey Arts Centre in Abbotsford, BC.

UPSTAGE PLAYERS - ages 13+

Learning more advanced theatre sports techniques, Upstage Players is the senior drama class at Creative Edge. Students in this theatre course are hand chosen with a demonstrated ability to act, improvise and characterize. They are also assigned the lead roles in our productions as well as being given the opportunity to emcee performances in December and June every year. By audition or invitation only.
