Mira Pittman
Mira’s Passion for dance started at age 3. She started assisting in classes by the age of 6 and started teaching her own students at just 14. Over the years, her journey to becoming a dance educator has been shaped by invaluable mentorships, courses, workshops, and post-secondary programs. Mira trained in a wide variety of styles including Ballet, Acro, Contemporary, Contortion, Jazz, Lyrical, Musical Theater & Stage. Additionally she has trained in Acting & Singing. Most recently she had the opportunity to train in England at the prestigious Northern School of Contemporary Dance, which is currently ranked as one of the top contemporary training institutions globally. Additionally, Mira has participated in summer intensives with Joffrey Ballet School in Las Vegas and San Francisco. Mira has earned her RAD Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies, a two-year program that enables her to train students for and enter them into ballet exams. She is also certified in Acrobatic Arts and Alixa Flexibility, with further specialized training in safe stretching, injury prevention, and improving turnout for dancers. For Mira, continuous professional development is essential to her role as a dance educator. Above all, Mira is deeply passionate about learning, teaching, and sharing her knowledge and love of dance with her students.
