Gabrielle Musseau
Read MoreGabrielle’s relationship with music began early on in her life. As a child and teenager, she regularly competed in piano festivals throughout Abbotsford and Chilliwack. In 2000, she completed her Grade 10 RCM piano examination with First Class Honours with Distinction, having studied under Bernard Duerksen.
Gabrielle has been teaching piano since the age of 14, giving her more than two decades of experience working with students of all ages and abilities. She approaches music with both discipline and genuine joy. Her teaching is rooted in a classical foundation while remaining flexible enough to meet each student where they are. She especially enjoys working with advanced students and helping them develop their musicality, technique, and confidence, but she equally loves introducing beginners to the piano and giving them a strong foundation to build on.
Outside of teaching, Gabrielle is raising her six children while completing her bachelor’s degree in psychology. She has recently taken up knitting, enjoys learning new instruments, and is currently learning the accordion. When she can find a quiet moment, she can usually be found with a book, although her ever-growing pile of books suggests she may never quite catch up.
